With everyone's attention to fire safety, the demand for fire clothing is increasing. The fireproof clothing is made of a composite material of flame-retardant fiber fabric and vacuum aluminized film, and does not contain asbestos. It has the advantages of light weight, high strength, flame retardant, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance, water resistance, abrasion resistance, folding resistance, harmless to human body, etc. It can effectively ensure that firefighters and operators in high-temperature places are close to the heat source and are not burned by flames and steam.

防火服是什么材料做的?安全性能和防护性能是怎么样的?

Fireproof clothingIt is composed of multi-layer fabrics such as outer layer and heat insulation layer. This combination of materials can be made as a single layer or multiple layers. The outer layer of heat insulation clothing shall be made of metal aluminum foil surface material that reflects radiant heat, and can meet the requirements of basic clothing manufacturing process and the performance requirements of corresponding auxiliary materials standards.

Fire resistant clothing requires a flame retardant fabric covered with aluminum foil. There are two kinds of flame retardant fabrics, one is cotton flame retardant twill yarn card, one is C/N cotton flame retardant cloth. After the aluminum foil is covered, it has good flame retardant properties, and the outer aluminum foil layer can also play a good role in preventing heat radiation.

Flame retardant and fire-proof clothing is widely used in many jobs, so the following is to introduce the safety performance requirements and protective performance requirements of flame retardant and fire-proof clothing.

1. safety performance requirements:

The "National Basic Safety Technical Specification for Textile Products" is a mandatory national standard on the basic safety performance requirements of textiles. The basic safety performance indicators covered by the standard include formaldehyde content, pH, color fastness, odor and decomposable aromatic amine dyes. As a mandatory national standard, the mandatory effect is that the product must be implemented even if it is not explicitly stated as an implementation standard. Taking formaldehyde as an example, according to GB18401-2010 requirements, flame retardant and fireproof clothing is a product that does not directly contact the skin. The safety category shall meet the requirements of Class C, and the content shall not exceed 300 mg/kg.

Flame retardantFireproof clothingIt belongs to the scope of application of this mandatory standard, so its safety indicators must meet the relevant requirements. In addition, in order to ensure the health and safety of workers, it is necessary to emphasize the three safety indicators of formaldehyde content, pH value and color fastness.

2. protection performance requirements:

The flame retardant protection function of flame retardant and fireproof clothing is realized by flame retardant technology. There are two ways of flame retardant technology: one is the addition method, that is, the flame retardant is mixed into the spinning solution, or the flame retardant is added into the polymer and then spun to make the spun yarn have flame retardant properties; The other is post-finishing, that is, flame retardant finishing is carried out on fibers or fabrics, and flame retardant treatment is carried out after the fibers are formed or made into fabrics and dyed. Chemical and physicochemical reactions occur in the flame retardant finishing process.

In many cases, roll-bake-bake or other finishing processes are used. Thus, intense treatment of conditions such as hyperthermia or high radiation therapy is required. However, in the baking process, side reactions may occur, resulting in fiber degradation, oxidation, hydrolysis and even thermal damage, thus changing the original normal wearing performance of textiles, resulting in reduced strength, poor moisture permeability, fabric hardening and other phenomena, affecting the durability and comfort of clothing.
