Heat insulation: Heat insulation refers to the physical process of preventing heat conduction by reducing the temperature change in the unit space caused by the change of the conduction medium when heat is transferred from the space with higher temperature to the space with lower temperature during the heat transfer process. It is usually achieved through thermal insulation materials, or through aerodynamic and other dynamic technical means.
1. Most users do not directly contact the flame, but transfer the external heat to the human body in the form of convection and heat dissipation, causing harm to the human body.
The heat-proof clothing must have good performance of slowing down the heat transfer of the tissue to avoid the harm of the heat source to the human body. Thermal protective clothing should have good performance of slowing down and preventing heat transfer, avoid the harm of heat source to human body, and provide good safety protection for users working in temperature environment.
2. Reflection
The reflected power is the ratio of the intensity of the reflected light to the intensity of the incident light. The surface reflectivity of different materials is different, and its value is mostly expressed as a percentage. The same material has different reflectivity for different wavelengths of light. This phenomenon is called selective reflection. Therefore, if the reflectivity of a material is listed, its wavelength should be indicated.
3. Absorption
The movement of matter from one medium phase to another. In physics, the energy of a photon is owned by another object, so the electromagnetic energy will be converted into other forms, such as heat. In the process of wave conduction, the absorption of light is often referred to as attenuation.
4. Carbonization isolation
The polymer can form a carbon layer during the combustion process, and its flame retardancy can be significantly improved. The amount of carbon produced during polymer combustion has a good correlation with its limiting oxygen index (LOI). The carbonization of polymers is closely related to their flame retardancy. For polymers, the main problem is that the carbonization effect of the carbonization agent is poor, the decomposition products of the polymer are less involved in the formation of carbon, the flame retardant produces carbon slowly during the combustion process, the formation of carbon is less, the quality of the carbon layer is poor, it is difficult to play a good heat insulation and oxygen barrier effect. During the combustion process, charring has a great influence on the flame retardant properties of polymers. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop efficient carbonization agents, especially intumescent flame retardants, to improve the participation of polyolefins in the carbonization process.
Carbonization has a great influence on the combustion behavior of flame retardant polyolefin. Carbon layer structure, carbon content and carbon residue rate are important basis for evaluating the flame retardant properties of materials. Promoting the formation of a stable, continuous, dense and uniform high-quality carbon layer, increasing carbon production, increasing carbon production, improving compatibility with the polymer matrix, and reducing the environmental protection requirements of polymer materials are the basic requirements and research priorities of flame-retardant polyolefins. Carbon-based flame retardant materials will play an increasingly important role in polyolefin flame retardants.
